At Angelo's Trattoria, guests are met with a traditional Italian dining experience that combines rustic dishes with a convivial atmosphere. Chef Angelo focuses on the former, ladling house-made tomato sauce over gnocchi and pouring a rosemary thyme demi-glaze over grilled veal chops. Though the selection is big—from flatbreads during lunch to citrus-herb butter tilapia stuffed with shrimp, scallops, and peppers at dinner—Chef Angelo is happy to create dishes not listed on the menu if diners call ahead. And each season, the dishes are tweaked to ensure in-season ingredients are used instead of last season's cast-offs.
