The festival was good but the admission prices were too expensive considering you also had to pay for food and alcohol. I would not go again.

It was a good time but much smaller than expected. The price of admission being $25 is extremely high for a festival this small. The wine was average and having to buy tickets to buy wine was unnecessary and annoying. The music was enjoyable and the food was good but not very diverse.

Even though it rained on and off, I enjoyed the experience. I loved the food and the music.

The festival, food, wine, and punch was great. I wish the live music would have begun earlier in the event.

There was a sample of pork and a sample of chicken grilled with tasty sauce. You had to pay for any real food and drinks. The souvenir glass was cute. Not worth $25. Happy I didn't pay $35 or $50.

Maybe expectations were too high ,however the free sample of jerk was basically in a little soufflé cup which was mostly bone ,and the wines were not local wines ...value for price 👎👎👎👎👎two Porto potty's for way too many people ,not anywhere to sit while eating ..was made to sound like free samples of food and local wines ,amounted to soufflé cup like I said and reggae wine was made in California with reggae label ....not a good experience at all and also we had printed out voucher and the girl said she needed to see it on our phone ,ridiculous oh and craft vendor people was junk

From Our Editors

Every year, South Carolina Reggae, Jerk & Wine Festival brings a little taste of Jamaica to Charleston in the form of live musical performances, jerk samples from Caribbean Rootz, and wine samples from a variety of distributors and winery partners. There's plenty of activities to keep visitors busy all day long, including wine and cooking demonstrations presented by a Jamaican chef, a dominoes tournament, and a complimentary tour of the Magnolia Garden. Throughout the entire event, visitors can dance to the beat of live reggae bands and DJs.
