A Chat with Music Hill Center
What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
Yamaha created these courses to help children develop their abilities and creative expression naturally through the use of a keyboard. They will be involved in the following activities: singing, ear training, repertoire (keyboard pieces), and ensemble (percussion instruments).
Do you provide any materials? What should your students expect to bring?
You don’t have to bring your piano. If you choose violin, bring it with you. All the materials for arts and crafts are provided. Your must bring your own lunch and snack. We have water fountains available in the school; however, you may bring your own drinks. Children should wear comfortable play clothing.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
Our love for music. For over 50 years, Yamaha Music Schools around the world have taught over six million children and adults how to play, appreciate, and create great music. Many have become professional musicians and music teachers. Most importantly, they all develop a love for music.
What do you love most about your job?
We love teaching children. They have an innate friendliness and are amazing. We enjoy working with them because they learn fast, have fun, and gain confidence when they share with their classmates the love for music.
