Ragged coastlines cut by glaciers. Animal pictographs that echo an ancient past. Stretching 46 kilometres from Horseshoe Bay to Squamish, the Howe Sound flaunts these natural and man-made sights, which come into view to voyagers aboard Squamish Harbour Boat Rentals' Hourston powerboats. The 17-foot vessels, which comfortably seat up to six, ferry passengers through tranquil waters amid views of snow-capped mountains and lush forests. A stop at nearby Halkett Bay Marine Provincial Park yields the sight of fish swimming just beneath the water's surface, each just waiting to be caught by passengers’ fishing poles or their natural predators' tractor beams.
