. Food was fair. Service average. Decor and washrooms in need of update
nice to have you in the neighbourhood.
Perhaps a little re-do as it's looked the same for 40 years.
good place to have a casual dinner
We actually were going away so ordered two take-out Veggie Pizzas with our our Group on and they were GREAT.
Always good food, from pizzas to pastas.
Salads could be given more attention
Thank you for treating my sister & I so special om our first visit Thank you
Yes - the only reason I said I would go back is because of the quality of the food, but our experience on the night we were there was very disappointing, our waitress was a big part of that problem, I could say lots of negative things about her but its possible she was a new employee so therefore will not add to the above, but when it came to paying my bill and using my Groupon, I was told that I would not have been allowed to eat the food that I had ordered and that I should have shown her my Groupon and I would have been directed to another menu, now I had already complied with the Groupon Policy and made a reservation declaring that I would be using a Groupon voucher, I was made to feel like I had stolen food that I was not entitled to have, even though it was quite clear that I had opted for the third choice of voucher which enabled me to have a $30.00 discount of any Menu item, this was a Fathers Day celebration evening and it totally spoiled my families night out, so if being perfectly honest I would have to think hard about whether I would go back to Tasos again.
From Our Editors
Taso's Family Restaurant's cadre of chefs and servers has satiated palates with homestyle Italian and Greek cuisine since opening its doors in the late 1960s. Topped with 100 per cent mozzarella cheese and a house tomato sauce, more than 25 pizzas arrive sliced and adorned with delectable ingredients such as capicollo and pineapple. Leather booths flanked by framed paintings bracing the dining-room walls shelter families of patrons scarfing down piles of pasta, Greek dishes, and meats and seafood fresh from the charcoal broiler. The eatery also hosts private parties for up to 50 guests in its back room, where celebrants can feast from preselected menu items, gather round their favourite TV program, or toast at a fireplace that abets the environment by burning breadsticks instead of wood.
