With numerous certifications in exercise, a degree in sports exercise science, and an accreditation in CrossFit Level 1, head coach Chase Brendle knows his stuff. He puts that experience to good use, imparting the intense, functional-movement exercises of CrossFit during classes designed to work out all muscle groups. It’s a system that also prepares participants to safely accomplish all kinds of activities, from athletic pursuits to such daily exertions as hauling in groceries from the car. Besides the daily workout, which changes each session to avoid the boredom of repetition, Chase also stresses the importance of nutrition as part of the CrossFit system.
