Shiloh Camp strives to transform the community through adventure education—an approach that yields immediate and concrete results and allows every participant to feel as though they have made a meaningful contribution. Across the outdoor facility, visitors work together to complete challenges, many of which unfold high off the ground. The zipline, for instance, sends groups whizzing through the air for a total of 300 feet, and climbers can scale 25- or 40-foot rock walls. The Faith Pole challenges visitors to channel their inner flying squirrels as they climb to the top of the 30-foot pole and then jump off and grab hold of a net.
Aside from its day-to-day offerings, the facility also serves inner-city youth with camps designed to build confidence and strengthen the body, mind, and spirit.
