Zorba’s Gyros prides itself on its family-owned status, gleefully eschewing the franchise model for a classic, down-to-earth eatery that’s as welcoming as it is delicious smelling. Inside, you’ll find Greece-themed artwork, chalkboards proclaiming the day’s specials, and quaint little tables that look plucked straight from the neighborhood cafes of Athens.
But the pleasant decor still comes in second to the menu, which boasts way more than the namesake Greek speciality. There’s also Vienna beef hot dogs and polishes, charbroiled steak burgers, and countless sandwiches ranging from chicken pitas to Philly cheesesteaks. And, of course, no Greek dining experience would be complete without a piece of baklava, which the cooks can also fold into an ice cream sundae for an even more decadent dessert.
