I would call ahead just to make sure they're not cleaning the gator pools. If they are maybe wait till another day:). Was a fun day though! Employees were very nice.

Good price when you use the Groupon. Golf course seemed run-down during the off season; needs a facelift/renovation.

It was very nice...the alligators, snake & turtle made it entertaining...you always have something to look at...my only complaint is that you last hole is at the back so you have to walk all the way to the front to return your clubs

The staff was extremely friendly; however, the place was a bit run down and not kept up. There were bees all over the place and large mosquitos that had a feast all over my daughter's legs. I recommend spending the extra dollars and going to a more kept up, fun atmosphere like Congo River or Pirates Cove.

No pars on the holes. The place looks rundown and not maintained. Also it did know contain over 200 alligators as the website claims. The greens and holes were dirty and made getting my ball out of the hole feel gross. Staff was nice but place was gross and poorly maintained. Other places on I-Drive are much better.

Maintaining the course would be desirable. There were some pretty bad areas where the AstroTurf needs to be replaced. Likewise the parking are looks horrible, almost felt like I was parking in a deserted area of I-drive that I wouldn't want to be in when the sun goes down. With so many choices of mini golf places around, you guys stand out but in a bad way, I'll likely take my business to another, more attractive, location. Good luck!

From Our Editors

Run by a staff of alligator gurus that has been featured on Animal Planet and The Learning Channel, Gator Golf combines the civilized sinking of putts with the visceral carnage of live alligator feedings. Glass walls line the 18-hole mini-golf course, which sees putt-putt posses walking over turbulent waters churned by the chomping jaws and thrashing tails of more than 200 live alligators. To foster interspecies harmony, players can purchase special gator food to toss into the gallery of scaly spectators, who express their gratitude by passing on ancestral tales about life on earth 20 million years ago.

A fearless coterie of gator wranglers enter the lagoon during shows and impart wisdom about how to handle the predacious reptiles in Alligator Academy classes, during which students can personally grapple with the gators. Guests of all ages can pose for pictures with smaller gators whose snouts have been taped shut to prevent biting and to preempt quips about players' putting form.
