From Our Editors
Inside Santé Restaurant, the piquant scents of globally inspired cuisine mingle amid the work of local artists, whose pieces fill the dining room's walls. Chef Daniel Guerra demonstrates his own artistic skills, plating beautiful dishes that use a palette of organic produce and locally sourced meats.
He has experience working in several Michelin-star restaurants in Italy, and takes his inspiration from chef Massimo Bottura at Italy’s renowned Osteria Francescana Restaurant, which has three Michelin stars. Chef Daniel's modern and fresh cuisine and delicately balanced six-course feasts reflect a new generation of Italian chefs.
To accompany chef Daniel’s fragrantly seasoned dishes, Santé Restaurant stocks its subterranean vault with a selection of Canadian and international wines, carefully selected by sommelier Rob Neillis. The elegant, intimate space, inventive cuisine, and curated wine list earned the eatery Diners' Choice awards from OpenTable including Best Ambiance, Romantic, and Fit for Foodies.
