The Las Vegas Strip: 24/7 Entertainment and Fine Dining

With an almost unlimited variety of casinos, bars, nightclubs, and live entertainment, the general consensus along the Las Vegas Strip seems to be “go big or go home.” And you can go really big here. Make a beeline for the dozens of 24-hour casinos lining the neon-lit Strip to tango with Lady Luck in high-stakes games of roulette, blackjack, and poker; or grab a front-row seat to the city’s over-the-top glitz at nightly magic, acrobatic, and musical performances. Be sure to stick around for mealtimes—casinos on the Strip are known for their fine-dining restaurants.

Even Sin City isn’t all casinos, all the time. Go shopping at the high-end boutiques found inside most hotels on the Las Vegas Strip. Head to LINQ Promenade for a shopping and dining experience, then ride atop the High Roller observation wheel. Thanks to the strip’s re-creation of the Eiffel Tower at Paris Las Vegas and the Roman Empire at Caesars Palace, you can virtually travel the globe in just a few city blocks. And you’ll find a surprising number of activities in Las Vegas for kids hidden amid the raucous nightlife.

The linq is very nice and new. Perfect location. Pillows could be softer. Rooms are nice and clean but not that big. Best place to stay for price.

Great location, average hotel This hotel was decent for the price we paid, but beware of the ridiculous "resort fees" they charge because they add on like another $58 per DAY! And you get nothing for it in the winter-time really. They SAY the WiFi and the fitness center are part of that charge- but whatever... cuz all hotels have that. It's just a way to sucker you in to the hotel at a lower cost and then still fleece you when you check in. A few of my favorite things about this hotel were: the AC worked great (but keep in mind we were there in February); the elevators were fast and we never had to wait long (we were in the tower closest to the casino); and we never had any issue getting in the room with either of our room keys which was refreshing. Two of the biggest things I did NOT like about this hotel were: there was a barn door on the bathroom with inches of space around the opening even when closed. In a tiny room, you can imagine that is NOT good for privacy; and being on the 15th floor, when the wind was blowing really hard, it actually shook the building and you could FEEL IT. We were there when there were some HUGE wind gusts though in February. So I would assume this is not a problem normally. In general, the room was clean and the beds were comfortable enough with basic sheets and a duvet with a duvet cover. When we arrived, we asked for more pillows and received them quickly. The bathroom mirror had lights all the way around it, but oddly, it seemed a bit dim. There was a little magnifying make-up mirror, but it did not light up. There were 2 other mirrors (one full length) in room though, but our room did not have great lighting since we had one smallish window facing into another building (Harrah's). We had heard the hotel could be kinda loud, so we brought 2 noise makers (that play a box fan sound) to turn on while we were sleeping, so we never noticed any commotion at night. The casino itself was decent, not too small and not too big. We never got to eat at the Linq's restaurants, though I really wanted to try Buddy's Jersey Eats, but it was never open for lunch (weird) and we always had other dinner plans. We did eat lunch one day at an inexpensive pizza place in Harrah's next door which was decent. It was also a relatively short walk to Denny's which is next to the Walgreens. The Linq has a great location on the strip across from Caesars and next to the Promenade which has many shops, restaurants and activities. It was just SOOO COLD when we were there so we didn't get to enjoy outdoor activities which was a HUGE bummer, we won't ever go to Vegas in February again. One other thing of note... catching an Uber was kinda weird at the Linq because you have to walk to the parking garage and cell service down there wasn't great. Taking taxis right off the check in area was much easier but I do think they are more expensive unless going to or from the airport. My biggest complaint was that we paid $80 for a late checkout at 4pm, but evidently the front desk never coordinated with the maid service (or visa versa) so we were CONSTANTLY interrupted by the maids with knocks (even though we had the Do Not Disturb sign on the door knob) and phone calls like FOUR different times. That was VERY frustrating since we were trying to sleep IN since we had stayed up all night. But overall, the hotel was decent enough, just be SURE to keep in mind the ridiculous resort fees when comparing to other hotels.

Linq - Feb 2026 Everyone says this is a “young person hotel” but i disagree. I am in my early 20’s and this was not my cup of tea at all. the casino stinks of weed, cigarettes and sewerage. the rooms weren’t small but they weren’t that big either and the aircon was very very old. The bathrooms had a ball of what i think was public hair in the corner and long black hair on the ceiling - Neither my partner or I have black hair. Despite this, it was a very good location and i did really enjoy the Linq Promenade. i’m also not sure about the deposits, i still haven’t gotten mine back and it’s been well over a week. not sure how long they usually take, but don’t expect to get it back in 3 days like they say. I wouldn’t stay here again.
