The Las Vegas Strip: 24/7 Entertainment and Fine Dining

With an almost unlimited variety of casinos, bars, nightclubs, and live entertainment, the general consensus along the Las Vegas Strip seems to be “go big or go home.” And you can go really big here. Make a beeline for the dozens of 24-hour casinos lining the neon-lit Strip to tango with Lady Luck in high-stakes games of roulette, blackjack, and poker; or grab a front-row seat to the city’s over-the-top glitz at nightly magic, acrobatic, and musical performances. Be sure to stick around for mealtimes—casinos on the Strip are known for their fine-dining restaurants.

Even Sin City isn’t all casinos, all the time. Go shopping at the high-end boutiques found inside most hotels on the Las Vegas Strip. Head to LINQ Promenade for a shopping and dining experience, then ride atop the High Roller observation wheel. Thanks to the strip’s re-creation of the Eiffel Tower at Paris Las Vegas and the Roman Empire at Caesars Palace, you can virtually travel the globe in just a few city blocks. And you’ll find a surprising number of activities in Las Vegas for kids hidden amid the raucous nightlife.

Four night stay Booked a four night stay here. On check in was told need to pay a $200 “Resort Fee” something I was aware of from reading on Vegas Forums but had no idea of how much it would be or how it’s calculated, something to be aware of even when booking through UK based TUI as we did. You also pay a deposit which for us was also $200. Assuming no issues this gets refunded around 10 days after you check out. We were asked if we wanted our room serviced, thought a bit odd but perhaps a Vegas/American thing. WiFi is free but only for two devices so once you registered a device that’s it. Unfortunately I had registered my phone and IPad not realising this. So my husband couldn’t use his iPad. It’s $15 per day per additional device. Honestly save your money there is free WiFi everywhere outside of the hotel. Have to be honest was a little nervous after seeing some of the reviews on the hotel, dirty, damp, smelly etc. Our room was on the 10th floor in district 2 overlooking the pool and wheel. Two queen beds, walk in shower, toiletries (body wash, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion). There was a hairdryer, iron and board and safe. The room was fine, no smells (!), perfectly clean. No noise at all. Beds comfy, pillows bit too high for me but fine. We had fresh towels daily, the bed made and bathroom cleaned. No issues with lifts either. There are no tea/ coffee making facilities in the room so be prepared to pay $7 for a tea from one of the cafes on the ground floor. Wish I had taken my travel kettle. Be warned it is flippin expensive in Vegas. On our first morning from a cafe on the ground floor we bought 2 pastries, one tea, 500ml bottle of water and it was $35. Prices don’t seem to be shown next to items rather on boards behind the till which we didn’t pay any attention to. This hotel is perfect for walking to the Sphere, about 15 mins walking through the Venetian or you can just walk down the Strip to it. The hotel it’s absolutely central, opposite Caesar’s Palace. There’s a bus stop right outside, get the Deuce to Fremont, $8 each for a 24 hour pass. It’s runs every 15 minutes, you can get off at any of the many stops. Taxi from the airport is a fixed price of $30, worth double checking before your journey starts as had read stories about people being charged more. Personally would recommend this hotel for its location and value. All the staff we encountered were helpful and friendly. On check out you can leave your cases with the bell desk if you’re leaving later in the day.

LINQ We stayed in district three and we feel that that’s the best district because it’s close to parking, casino access and the promenade Lila at check-in was so incredibly helpful to me. Kamal, a Porter. helped us out twice and saved us a lot of frustration. The rooms are dated very clean. Bring your own blanket and we are glad we did The location is awesome! Great food choices, even an In-N-Out

Just go somewhere else The hotel is non smoking but some patrons didn't get the memo. Our room smelled like the last guests had smoked in it before us. They aren't strict enough, there should be an extra clean fee for smokers in the rooms. Other than that there was no fridge or microwave. All of our leftovers went to waste and that was ridiculously expensive. The biggest annoyance was the damn parking garage. No attendant we just spent over 25 minutes in line of cars to just get out of the parking lot! You have to stop, try and navigate the control panel to get the arm up. Three cars spent over 4-5 minutes trying to get the arm to lift. People were honking, it was absolutely unacceptable for a line of 8+ cars trying to just get tf out of the garage. Never saw such a blatant disregard for guests time than to not remedy that. You know they're aware. They have to be.... I tried to call to report the problem and it went to automative voicemail. I know people have reported the problem in person. Can you tell it was a BIG issue? I never chew out employees at the desk because they are doing their best. A lady was very helpful when we had an issue with smoke smell. She gave us a voucher to go eat while they did an air filter thingy in our room.
