Not impressed. Had a reservation & still had to wait 35 mins. After seated the service was terrible. Food was good but not worth the experience.👎

Length of Groupon deal wasn't long enough. Melting Pot wasn't able to make a reservation when I tried, so the Groupon expired before I was able to use it. Very frustrating. Will not come back.

Get the 4-course meal it's well worth the extra cost. I had steak, shrimp, and tuna. All of which were great. It's definitely different from other restaurants I've been to due to how personal it seems.

The worst meal I've ever had. Portions were small, bread and chips were stale, the whole experience was bad. Would not recommend this restaurant!

I had horrible service and the waitress took 5+ minutes to get drinks, to get our check, to get refills- they weren't busy. She was inattentive and probably didn't care because I had a groupon and she probably assumed I wouldn't tip well. Groupon customers should be treated the same as any customer- because we can always come back. Both the hostess and the person I called for the reservation said that we could sub the cheese fondue for the chocolate at no cost, but although two employees said I could do this, they ended up charging us for it anyway, which almost was full price for the cheese anyways.

We had a nice fondue experience but will not be returning customers due to pricing. It was extremely expensive, even with a groupon (PLUS the additional tax of $12 and tip of $20). For a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 young kids under the age of 10), we didn't feel like we had enough to eat. The Groupon was not worth the value of the meal served.

The chocolate drink I order was not very good. The meat was good but the flavoring place into the pot was not good at all for the vegetables but good for the meat. I left hungry.

From Our Editors

When The Melting Pot originally opened in 1975 just outside Orlando, diners had just three options: swiss-cheese fondue, beef fondue, or chocolate fondue. The restaurant first expanded four years later, when an enterprising waiter at the initial location opened up a new outpost in Tallahassee. Today, the company—now owned by that original waiter, Mark Johnston, and his brothers Mike and Bob—reigns as the premier fondue, wine, and drink restaurant, stretching across North America with more than 140 restaurants linked by underground tunnels. The restaurant's menu has also expanded, and patrons can now expect six varieties of hot dipping cheese paired with salads, meats, and molten chocolate.

On a given night, groups of viscous-dip-loving foodies gather around tables to nosh on cheese-fondue appetizers and various salads while cooking steaks and seafood in a choice of healthy broth or oil. Birthday revelers and romance seekers cap decadent evenings sharing the chocolate desserts that have defined The Melting Pot for decades.
