Tara Thrasher, Studio Twenty-8's resident massage therapist, draws from more than 11 years of body-bolstering experience to battle deep-seated chronic pain and help patients relax with yoga techniques. During deep-tissue massage, the expert body guru analyzes clients' posture and customizes muscle-molding sessions to focus on chronic pain across the body's structural systems, as well as the telephone wires that connect muscles to the brain. Skilled hands target trigger points and ease tension with multiple stretching techniques, including those that focus on myofascial tissues. Due to the intensity of the massage, clients may require a few days to recover and practice all their body's newly programmed facial expressions.
