Small event, but it was fun. Couple of bounce houses and a rock wall for the kids. One beer provider (Warsteiner), but they served 4 different styles of beer. Lots of table seating. Live music was good, and host/MC was good. Only downside was food. Two food booths, operated by different companies. Drastically diff quality between them. Chose the wrong one first, so bought dinner twice. Not cool.

Food was ok and a little on the pricey side for what you got. 10$ for a beer a little much.

I've gone the last two years. 2017 was so much fun and the food tasted great! 2018, it was okay. The food wasn't that great and when your paying $11 for a braut and sourkrout after already paying an entrance fee you are expecting decent food and good size portions. It's a shame the potato pancakes had gluten in them, my grandmother who has celiacs was unable to enjoy them. I did appreciate the fun they provided for the kids. I dressed my daughter in a lederhosen and she received so many complements. She missed the costume contest but they had all the kids that dressed up come up and receive a few items to keep them included. Maybe they could do a costume contest for kids one of these years. My daughter had fun and the beer was great. Great music and friendly people. Fun games. Overall great experience besides the food.

Somewhat disappointed. Food was good, but different vendors provided different amounts for the same price, and some not for the advertised price.

From Our Editors

The hot desert climate of Arizona may be a world away from the temperate forests of Bavaria, but during the Peoria Oktoberfest, they might as well be one and the same. This traditional German festival celebrates brats, beer, and the coming of autumn with a full slate of authentic food and drink. The Bier of course is brewed in Germany and choices include the traditional Oktoberfest Bier, Pilsner Dunkel (dark) and Koenig Ludwig’s award winning Hefeweizen.
