What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
I think too many pool companies do this because of the freedom it provides. But that motivation doesn't lead to focusing on what makes your company great. For us, it's about value. That means expect more out of ourselves than our customers expect of us and always doing what we say we're going to do.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
We're an entrepreneurial team that has always been part of or built service businesses. The pool cleaning business is no different. It's fulfilling when you can be a part of something where the quality of your work and the service you offer can be the competitive advantage that makes you unique.
What do you love most about your job?
For our technicians they will tell you that they love working outside; that they get fulfillment out of creating sparkling pools. As hokie as that sounds, they really take pride in that. For the owners, it's about providing value to our relationships, both with our technicians and to our customers .
What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer?
"That's fair." Most of your feedback comes when your customer needs repair work. This is usually unexpected and can often times be expensive. We don't take that lightly. We want to troubleshoot, we want to provide options, and help our customers get what's best for them, not our bottom line.
