Overall, this event was not worth the 1/2 price amount. The food and wine was mediocre. Also, the tastings were just 5 thimblefuls of wine. On a better note-the band and a few of the artists were very good. We drove more than an hour and we were very disappointed.

The Groupon deal was not worth it, although they were pleasant they were not prepared properly for an event like this. There lines atmthemwine tasting station was handled incorrectly and the food was not enough for the attendees not to mention the poor choices. Wine selection and prices were good.

They should have opened up the tent- it was stifling inside. Maybe have two wine tasting sections at each end so the workers aren't overwhelmed.

I WASN'T FOND OF THE WINE SELECTION. THEY WERE EITHER TOO DRY OR TOO SWEET. I WOULD HAVE LIKED SOMETHING IN BETWEEN

Pleasant and informative speaker. Would have liked more specific food suggestions as we tasted each wine instead of just munching on what we wanted on our own. But it was fun and I may try some of the other activities- especially if there is a groupon involved!

The grape stomping was ridiculous and a waste of time. The tasting was very nice.

From Our Editors

Cabernet sauvignon, pinot noir, zinfandel, and merlot—these classic European varieties will never emerge from the vineyards of Four Sisters Winery. Since 1984, winemaker Matty Matarazzo has only used grapes that can survive the bitter winters on his 250-acre farm in Warren County. He has won more than 100 regional, national, and international awards for his lineup of more than 25 wine varieties, which includes a sweet red made with concord grapes and a crispy, fruity wine made with several types of late harvest apple.

Four Sisters' staffers grant guests a glimpse of Matty's winemaking process during behind-the-scenes tours, as well as allow them to sample selections during onsite wine tastings. Freshly made light eats from a seasonal bakery can be enjoyed on a outdoor deck, under a tent overlooking the vineyards, or at a picnic table on the grounds. Throughout the year, the winery hosts numerous events, including a Mother's Day buffet, a Father's Day pig roast, and grape-stomping parties spearheaded by disenfranchised raisins.
