There are no roller coasters at Coney Island Grill, but diners might get a roller-coaster-caliber adrenaline rush from conquering one of the eatery's hearty hot dogs. The Coney Island dog, for instance, comes doused with all-meat chili, and the Chicago-style one comes crowned in everything except ketchup—even a celery-salt studded pickle spear. For an extra dose of flavor, diners can enhance any hot dog with cheese.
Alongside dogs and fries served by the pound, Coney's culinary team also grills up burgers with creative toppings such as pineapple slices and green chili. They also fill pitas with stuffings such as the Greek-inspired grilled-veggies-and-feta option, the more American chicken-and-swiss combo, or the most American filling of all, a bronze bust of George Washington.
