About this Business

From Our Editors

To give Daily Bistro's menu of healthy eats a distinct taste, the owner's joined forces with Chef Lee Hillson, a one-time challenger on the Food Network's Iron Chef America and currently the executive sous chef at The Phoenician Resort. This collaboration gained praise from the Phoenix New Times and AZ Central. Diners lend their own opinions, sighing happily into plates of eggs benedicts made from farm-fresh poached eggs, french toast crowned with mixed berries, and build-your-own burritos. Flatbreads sizzle in the kitchen, steam rising from toppings such as shaved roast beef and mixing with the aromas of Illy’s coffee and organic White Lion teas.

Daily Bistro's interior, reminiscent of a country cottage or The National Whittling Museum, was crafted by Pryor Designs. Light seems to dance off white wainscoting and gold-accented mirrors, and outdoors, guests cozy up on the patio as they take in views of Camelback Mountain.

Coup Des Tartes is also a popular neighborhood bistro but does not sell alcohol. Customers can bring their own wine and pay a modest corking fee. From Tex-Mex to authentic Mexican cuisine, Phoenix's close proximity to the border ensures a wide variety of Mexican restaurants. For inexpensive tacos, quesadillas and similar fare, Tacos Atoyac is a great spot. Guests who plan on eating at Tacos Atoyac should be prepared to wait in line during peak lunch and dinner hours.
