Oftentimes, the need to eat quickly can trump the need to eat well. Local Organica's founders wanted to provide a third option by making quick, nutritious meals in the form of raw juices. They get their sustainably-raised produce directly from local farmers; apart from rinsing it with water, they don't do much else to it. They don't cook it or add preservatives or sweeteners. Instead, they toss their haul into their hydraulic juice press and squeeze every ounce of nutrients from the fruits and vegetables. They bottle the resulting juice blends, and deliver them fresh to clients within three days, offering everything from mini juice packs to structured cleanses and build-your-own tasting experiences.
