About this Business

Louisiana Fried Chicken traces its origins back to the mid-70s, when founder Joe Dion set out to create a restaurant business built on the foundation of flavorful Southern cuisine. After plenty of research trips to New Orleans and experimentation with recipes in his garage, Joe opened up the first location in 1976 and immediately gained a huge following thanks to his spicy Cajun-seasoned fried and baked chicken. Today, guests at Louisiana Fried Chicken locations chow down on crispy chicken legs and breasts alongside mac 'n' cheese and fried okra or served atop golden-brown Belgian waffles. Fried fish, shrimp, and Louisiana-style gumbo are also big draws, honoring the famous full flavors of New Orleans and the charming crawdad it keeps electing mayor.
