Did not find the chicken to be spicy enough and the dirty rice was dry and bland.

They are closing soon, due to loss of lease. No exact date given. Good chicken and recommend the dirty rice.

The chicken was definitely left in the fryer too long. The meat itself was fine, but the skin was burned.

To be fair we arrived during a busy dinner hour for which they were not prepared as far as staff. The staff was however very pleasant but they were also out of several side dishes.

The fish was tasty, especially with tartar sauce and lemon juice. However, they didn't have coleslaw, seafood gumbo or po boys. No info on when they'd have the second two, coleslaw in 30 minutes, maybe.

From Our Editors

Louisiana Fried Chicken traces its origins back to the mid-70s, when founder Joe Dion set out to create a restaurant business built on the foundation of flavorful Southern cuisine. After plenty of research trips to New Orleans and experimentation with recipes in his garage, Joe opened up the first location in 1976 and immediately gained a huge following thanks to his spicy Cajun-seasoned fried and baked chicken. Today, guests at Louisiana Fried Chicken locations chow down on crispy chicken legs and breasts alongside mac 'n' cheese and fried okra or served atop golden-brown Belgian waffles. Fried fish, shrimp, and Louisiana-style gumbo are also big draws, honoring the famous full flavors of New Orleans and the charming crawdad it keeps electing mayor.
