Ultimate Sushi Chef Battle is such a spectacle, it merits two audiences. The first is made up of live show attendees, who sample dishes whipped up by the four teams of battling chefs'. The second are TV viewers, who watch the meal from their couches once it's cut and spliced into a new show, dubbed Sushi Ninjas.
The show's premise is classic. Four star sushi teams present over 20 sushi dishes, appetizers, and desserts, and the crowd samples them all. Then, each diner votes for their favorite, and the winner is crowned Sushi Ninja. Meanwhile, every diner at the theater gets a similarly coveted perk; they all get to be in the televised pilot show broadcast, and can all legitimately change their middle names to "As Seen on TV."
