Though Stonewood Equestrian has been around for just a couple years, its property dates back to the 1970s, when it was a training center for young horses and riders and a notable breeding operation for Canadian Sport Horses. Recent renovations have transformed the estate into one of the top equestrian facilities in the greater Toronto area, complete with spacious stalls and 24-hour care just in case horses need someone to check their closet for monsters in the middle of the night.
Its not just the horses that are spoiled at Stonewood. Riders have top-level facilities at their disposal, too, including a large indoor riding arena, an outdoor sand ring, and grooming and wash stalls. New riders can earn their spurs through lessons, and experienced riders can hone their skills through hunter, jumper, and equitation programs.
