The service was ok but the restaurant itself seemed to be falling apart. They had limited liquor options and served their food cold to us and other people seated near us.

This place treats you horribly when you have a Groupon and doesn't allow you to use your Groupon at the hibachi table if someone seated before you told the waitress they had a Groupon... Even if they are a stranger only one Groupon can be used per table. They were put of shrimp and lobster and my husband ended up getting food poisoning. Horrible horrible... Stay away!!

No highlights. Just negatives. Service was horrible. They have a full bar but told us they only had beer the night we were there. Also robata was not available to order. Only hibachi or sushi. Food was just mediocre.

They are even lucky I gave them a single star. Tonight was my sons 9th birthday. He only picked this place because of the kids sushi. First we arrive at 5:25 to beat the rush. Entire place was empty. Hostess told us we can't be seated at Hibachi because they have a reservation for 13 at 5:30! Should have been my warning. So we could wait until 6 and be seated. Fine we will wait. 6 rolls around and were seated about 6:10. Tried to order glass of wine. They are out of all wine and spirits and only have 4 beers left on tap. Ummmm right. Our steak was perfect for a children's meal. And my steak shrimp dinner included 7 shrimp and they didn't even bother to cut the tails off!! So I picked all the

No real highlights. Service was friendly, but we felt rushed as we weren't even 1/2 way through our salad when our dinners arrived. Our meal was the spicy seafood noodles. 'Seafood'. Not much. Seems as if there were 2 shrimp cut into pieces and 1 scallop cut in quarters. For $25 a meal, I expected so much more. The sauce/noodles were good, but could not make up for the miniscule and stingy main part of the meal.

They weren't very busy. Considering I ordered sushi I didn't expect to wait as l did. Additionally they only had 4 beers on tap, which between the three different waitresses, were all differenet. The manager was kind enough to give us half off on our beverage order for this mishap.

From Our Editors

Centuries ago, Japanese fisherman couldn't wait to get off the boat to eat some of their fresh catch, so they built grills on the boats to cook their fish slowly over an open flame. The chefs at DragonFire Japanese Steakhouse continue this tradition, searing seafood, vegetables, and meats over oak charcoal and paying as much attention to the grill as one normally pays to a pregnant British princess. Diners gather around the robata grill to witness the chefs sear scallops and steak coated in savory marinades.

They also gather around teppanyaki grills for hibachi meals, which chefs prepare while tossing morsels of food into the air. Or, diners can perch at the sushi bar and watch sushi chefs wrap seaweed and sticky rice around fish and vegetables.
