Enjoy the aroma of Scottish, Irish and American food, listen to the skirl of Highland bagpipes, the beat of the drums, the showing of massed bands, the moves of Highland and Irish dancers, smell the aroma of American, Irish and Scottish foods, witness the raw strength and agility of the athletes and the feeling of nostalgia. A British Car show is open for entries on spot and a tea room to relax is available.
The event kicks off Friday night with a candlelight bagpipe recital featuring Piobaireachd, the Classical music of the pipes. Saturdays event begins at 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m., Sunday starts at 10:00am and ends with closing ceremonies at 4:00 pm. The event is full of lots of things to do and see so come early, wear your Renn/Celtic garb and stay the day and round out the evening with a Ceilidh (pronounced Kay-lee- meaning party/dance)!
The Ceilidh, Saturday at 6:00pm at the same location will feature live music, impromptu piping, whiskey tasting, beer/wine/soda to purchase and dancing from 6-9pm.
