Although it's located just 70 miles west of Chicago, Stonehouse Farm feels hundreds of miles away from...well...everything. This center provides a quiet retreat from the hustle of everyday life—a space to relax, escape, and just breathe for a moment.
Fittingly, a historic stone house sits at the heart of the 37-acre property. It was built by hand in the mid 19th century, back when cellphones were still used strictly for emergencies. The house's tranquil aura ripples across the entire farm, where walking paths snake through lush flora and a sparkling pond draws in elegant blue heron. It's an ideal scene for yoga retreats, community barbecues, and more—which Stonehouse Farm frequently host from May through October.
