Very good food. Big portions. Nice people
We were disappointed in our dinner here. We were the only ones in the restaurant on a Friday night - not a good sign. The fajitas and burrito were bland - not like Mexican food we are used to. The only good part was the margarita which was small but tasty.
Amazing salsa bar, but skip the queso. Service was fast, friendly, and very clean.
Overall the service was very good but the food was just mediocre.
I tried 3 times during their hours of operation as posted on the website. Closed for one reason or another. Went today to get my $12 worth. The promotion value had expire a while ago. Food is pretty good. Not cheap. Not close to me. I just don't want to deal with them again. Too many other places with good food and serving during the hours they say they're open.
The chips and bean dip were good, and the charro beans were delicious! The meats (steak and carnitas)were too finely chopped and very dry and bland. The barbacoa was totally inedible, as was the quacamole!
The food is amazing! I love the chips and bean dip.
From Our Editors
At Tacos Lalo's, the house specialty is the barbacoa taco stuffed with shredded beef, cilantro, and onions. But it's certainly not their only taco: guests can choose from nine other varieties that range from salmon steak with pineapple to slow-cooked pork carnitas. In the morning, tortillas served with different items such as potato and chorizo, or bacon, cheese, and egg.
The menu also includes fajitas, Tacos al Carbon, Chiles Rellenos, and Quesadilla al Pastor, Chicharron with Salsa, and more. Guests can customize their dishes at the salsa bar with eight different salsas or sidle up to an actual bar stocked with margarita machines, tequila, and Mexican beers on tap. Inside, groups can gather around colorfully tiled tables, or head out to an open atrium with greenery and views of that weirdly bright yellow circle in the sky.
