Somewhere on The Whole Enchilada's menu lurks a colossal, yet delicious eating challenge: the Ex-Wife, a six-pound burrito piled high with mexican rice, beans, cheese, guacamole, and a side of chips for good measure. Challengers who finish it in less than 45 minutes don't have to pay a dime. They also receive a T-shirt and, as local pundits speculate, gain the upper hand in any upcoming mayoral elections should they decide to run for office.
Of course, The Whole Enchilada also has plenty of options for normal-size appetites. Since opening its doors in 2006, the restaurant has built a solid fan base thanks to its classic Mexican dishes, including fish tacos with mahi mahi, cilantro sauce, and freshly made tortillas. The rest of the menu features 10 different burritos, fresh salads, and nachos, as well as tofu substitutes for vegetarians.
