CrossFit is so named because of its mix-and-match fitness philosophy, forging a veritable Venn diagram of techniques. The fitness lines are blurred inside the 5,000-square-foot facility as routines glom together to challenge every bodily facet from the biceps to the bifurcated hooves. The workouts shift and change with the regularity of an animorph and are composed of functional movements such as pushing, pulling, squatting, lifting, rowing, and more. Everyone is welcome, from octogenarian cage fighters to 20-year-old Internet potatoes.
