I thought that it was a little amateur-ish. We went in expecting a little more. I also realize that the quality of the class may have been dependent on the chef. We were hoping for more extensive recipes. They recipes were really simple and self-explanatory. We could have easily found the recipes on-line. Also, the chef seemed unprepared. She noted several times that she was not expecting as many people to show up, but it seems like she should have known based on how many people bought seats. We were underwhelmed and stopped to get more food afterward because we were still hungry.

Absolutely loved our experience here. We plan to go back, with or without a Groupon -- it was that great!

The cooking class was great! It was a fun environment, everything was organized very well, and the food was quite tasty. I would love to go again and will definitely recommend it to friends and family.

Great job! Also, you ought to consider a rewards program where every five people someone gets to attend at least one session at the Kitchen turns into one free visit for them. You would get a lot more diversity and it would be easier to make sure word was getting out at least into people's immediate circles, and hopefully beyond. Maybe that isn't actually sucha good idea, but something like that would be smart you know? Even if its just every friend you refer gets you an entry to win some cool cooking stuff or something.

From Our Editors

If the instructors at The Kitchen were melded into one Voltron-esque chef, that chef would stand out as a culinary impresario, wielding skills in organic and vegetarian cooking, as well as pastry-making, and international cuisine. And it’s a good thing that the teaching staff is so multifaceted. They lead classes that not only focus on regional cuisines, but also cooking for events such as making side dishes for football-viewing gatherings or desserts to warm up cold nights.
