The owner of this vendor either tried to scam me or doesn't know how Groupon's system works. When I called in mid-March to schedule my appointment, I was told by the very nice receptionist that the vendor was so busy that it wouldn't be able to make my appt until after the Groupon expiration date. She told me not to worry, though, b/c the vendor would stilll honor the Groupon. When the owner arrived 3 hours late on the date of my appt, he told me to "deal with it" as the previous customer apparently kept adding extra services. Then he scanned my Groupon and claimed that he couldn't honor it b/c it expired. When I tried to explain what the receptionist told me, he became beligerent, interrupting me and reminding me that HE is the owner. When I picked up the phone to call the receptionist, he tried to stop me. It was obvious that he now expected me to pay full price. I called her anyway, telling her that I expected to pay no more for the service. I put the owner on the phone w/her and somehow this led him to go ahead and clean my carpet, although he complained the entire time about how he was basically cleaning my carpet for free b/c the evil Groupon won't pay his money. He even commented that my printout of the Groupon "looks like a copy" (as if someone else could have a copy too). When I pulled up the Groupon on my computer (after he had tried to redeem it), it showed as redeemed, not expired. He said that that's been happening to people lately: somehow another person must've gotten ahold of my Groupon # and redeemed it before he got there, preventing him to get paid. After he left, I contacted Groupon and asked for the date it showed as being redeemed. As I suspected, the system showed the Groupon as being redeemed on the exact date AND time that the owner stood in my living room to redeem it. So HE is the one who redeemed it but tried to refuse service, claiming that it had previously been redeemed by someone else. I will add that the owner got angry with me for looking at his machine while answered a question about the machine. Apparently I'm only allowed to look directly at his face when he's talking. He angrily dropped the machine when I reminded him that I listen with my ears, not my eyes, but right before I opened my mouth to tell him to get the heck out of my house, he picked up the machine and continued to work. Although he apologized later for the attitude regarding my failure to look at his face, I wouldn't dare recommend this unprofessional owner to anyone I know b/c I don't want them to have to go through what I went through.

I had asked the owner for a receipt in order to show my landlord that I had the carpets cleaned prior to moving out. While he did a great job with the cleaning, I did not receive my receipt via email as promised. When I called to contact them regarding the receipt, I was yelled at and treated extremely disrespectfully by the owner. He was very rude and I would never subject my friends and family to the same treatment.
