Dr. Henry Roth draws upon knowledge gleaned during stints with the 1988 U.S. Olympic team. During his intensive period of training in Carnegie Hall, Dr. Roth honed manual-therapy techniques to treat repetitive overuse syndrome in the dancers and musicians of the classical stage. He brings this experience to his practice at Health in Hand Massage Therapy Center, where he calls upon an array of massage modalities to help muscles recover from slouching or taking shortcuts home through live hockey games. Among his many specialties, which includes treating acute sciatica, the doctor’s exclusive Rothstone technique employs Y-shaped stones to emit soothing warmth deep into the body’s structures. When not healing muscles of their many maladies, Dr. Roth trains up-and-coming therapists at the North Jersey Massage Training Center in Parsippany.
