Powerhouse Gym's big space seems absolutely packed with equipment at first glance, but the staff reserves plenty of room for regular group fitness classes. They teach Zumba, kickboxing, and yoga, as well as provide one-on-one training sessions and outdoor, military-style boot camps.
Neon signs and exposed ducts and rafters lend the gym an almost urban vibe, enhanced by the rows of metallic equipment and weights packed together like buildings in a city block. TVs beam news and entertainment to the eyes of those working on the treadmills, ellipticals, or other stationary cardio equipment, giving their brains a workout without the need to shove tiny weights up their noses.
