I'm hoping it's better this year. Two years ago, there were only two food vendors and it seemed a little disorganized. Overall, it was a worthwhile endeavor.

I wouldn't go to this even if it were a free event It seems like it was a bunch of people who's knew each other, dressed up in costumes and hanging out

From Our Editors

The Reno Celtic Celebration puts the area's Celtic heritage on display in all it's multifaceted, kilt-filled splendor. Below, we break down some of the highlights of the annual two-day event.

First sights: As visitors enter the grounds, they are greeted by bagpipes, clan tents, living history actors, and a display of sleek British cars courtesy of the Reno Jaguar club.

Fun: The entertainment ranges from Celtic musicians and Irish and Scottish dance performances, to a bagpipe competition and Scottish athletics such as the hammer throw and caber toss.

Food: The onsite chefs serve a mix of Celtic and American cuisine. Think meat pies and platters of fish and chips alongside hamburgers.
