The manager of the Reston location (new site) was excellent. She was the friendliest employee I'd ever met and I'd been a customer for a long time.

Over priced. Many of the same items are in other stores/online for less. And with lower prices now on good-quality laser printers, easier to design/print your own invitations and announcements.

Your employees are so helpful and courteous. I had the best experience yesterday and look forward to shopping at your Reston location more often.

Your items are rediculously overpriced! You would sell so much more and develop a more positive customer feeling if merchandise was not marked up so high. You would cultivate more shoppers who actually purchase goods, not just browse and window shop. We look, then try to find it some where else. Shoppers are not loyal when it is clear you are trying to take advantage of them.

From Our Editors

Since 1994, stationery visionary Heidi Kallett has helmed The Dandelion Patch, stocking its shelves with writing-related goods and thoughtful gifts. The shop, which has been named Best Stationer by Northern Virginia Magazine and Best of the Best by the Washingtonian, helps shoppers to tote belongings to and fro with paisley Vera Bradley bags and improve the aroma of homes with delicate candles. Heidi and her staff can engrave or monogram stationery and invitations that celebrate the birth of a baby or the ability to memorize addresses. The Dandelion Patch’s events include writing workshops—which teach young writers to master the art of the thank-you note—children’s etiquette classes, and wedding-etiquette teas.
