If you have yet to eat at Sal and Phil's, now is the perfect time to visit the hugely-popular buffet. It's a culinary destination for those looking for good food.
Many people will probably tell you that Sal and Phil's is known for its salad bar. There's not really a recommended attire, so feel free to dress comfortably. Also, only cash is accepted, so you'll definitely want to swing by the ATM beforehand. Glancing at the prices, one person won't have any trouble dining for less than $20, and can probably get in and out somewhere in the $10-to-$15 range, if you try.
When you get there, think about ordering the crawfish, the fried oysters, or the crab claws, as all three are fantastic. In terms of the restaurant itself, it's been tabbed as a nice option for both families with children and large groups. WiFi's available if you want to link your device up, and in addition to its convenient take-out menu, the restaurant even provides catering for events around town. Or, if you just want to stop by for a beverage, the restaurant has a pretty broad selection at its bar.
A good option for both lunch and dinner, a trip to Sal and Phil's is definitely worthwhile. Don't worry about trying to find a spot on the street, as visitors to the restaurant do have access to a private parking lot nearby.
