Magnone Trattoria & Market is truly a family business: siblings Douglas and Deanna Magnon co-founded it, and their mother, Elaine, tends to the restaurant's garden, which, in-turn, produces many of the ingredients that go into Magnone's from-scratch recipes.
The menu features nearly a dozen different organic and housemade pastas, including the popular penne quatro formaggi, crafted with four imported Italian cheeses. Entrees, meanwhile, include vitello marsala—sauteed veal with a marsala wine mushroom reduction sauce. An extensive and carefully planned wine list punctuates meals, and a small on-site market invites visitors to stock up on imported meats, cheeses, and other hard-to-find Italian grocery items.
