From Our Editors
When most people think of obstacle courses, they think of barbed wire, fields of thick mud, and extreme tests of physical endurance. When the creators of HappyFest Obstacle Course & Festival think of them, they think of inclusion. The fest promotes physical fitness and community by creating a course filled with challenging obstacles like challenge walls, hurdles and rope climbs. HappyFest promotes inclusion by offering, at each obstacle station, an "alternative" challenge that any participant can choose and which will be wheelchair accessible. After the race, the festivities take off with live music, food, games and fitness activities.
