With the original chefs from Banducci’s opening day still tirelessly creating Chicago-style and thin crust pizzas, pastas, and sandwiches almost 20 years later, Banducci’s menu has been tried and tested. Hand-tossed double dough, thin crust, Chicago-style deep dish, and Sicilian stuffed pizzas act as vehicles for sauce, cheese, and toppings—specialty pizzas include the Banducci ($10 for 10", $22 for 18"), which combines pepperoni with pineapple and jalapeños, remaining neutral in the age-old battle between spicy and sweet. The Veggie Delight pizza ($10 for 10", $22 for 18") can be topped with any four vegetables or delights including spinach, artichoke hearts, young love, fresh garlic, and olives. The homemade baked lasagna layers ingredients into an edible cross-section of the earth’s core and is served with a small salad and a garlic breadstick ($7.50) or with meatballs or sausage ($9.50).
