The cupcakes were very fresh and a good selection of flavors. Ice cream was good but the scoop was very skimpy. We mentioned that to the server and that was the size they were told to make. We will not go back for the ice cream.

Nice place. I try not to eat that many sweets which is why only go with a deal or special.

The staff there is AMAZING!! But who ever makes the cupcakes needs to return to culinary school on baking cakes...bought a dozen for my moms birthday and sad to say but they are the driest cakes I've ever bought from a bakery! Kind of disappointed ...I would say tho that the icing was pretty amazing ...

Excellent cupcakes: fresh, moist and not too sweet, just perfect. Besides, employees are always very helpful and have a good attitude with clients.

Left a review on Yelp but it was basically overpriced cupcakes that were worse than when my friends could make it. Cupcakes and ice cream tasted similar (if not worse) to buying directly from a grocery store so I could've saved some money at least by buying it there instead of on this groupon.

Trying to order over the phone was extremely complicated. All my daughter wanted was cupcakes with pink flowers on them and I kept being told that would be a special order and not just something they could do. Seemed like a really simple request to me that should have been easily accommodated.

I came in for their cupcakes. I liked them. Very nicely decorated, would compare to 'GC'. that is why I ordered two cakes for the next week. I was not impressed with the cakes I had special ordered, they did not follow my request and did not call to clarify if that was the reason. I could have bought them from a grocery store and paid half the price. They were not ready when I arrived. And the baker and counter help became indignant when I said that they were not what I asked for. They did re do the decorations in the colors I wanted. The guests at the party asked me if I had decorated them, especially the writing, that's how unprofessional they looked. I will be requesting a refund on the 2nd groupon I bought. Sorry, I always try to give my business to a Mom and Pop, but I will not be going back.

The Groupon directs you to call and pre-order. It is next to impossible to get anyone on the phone. They also do not return messages. I went there after my Groupon expired and picked up whatever was available for the price paid on the Groupon. People were nice face to face.

From Our Editors

While the bakers at The Cakery at King Farm are known for the beautiful designs of their wedding cakes, that’s not their main focus. Armed with only fresh fruits, natural butter, and fresh whipping cream, they put most of their effort into crafting treats that taste even better than they look. They can fashion custom cakes that embody multitiered decadence or craft dozens of cupcakes ready for immediate sharing. The shop’s bakers are skilled at creating a range of classic and seasonal flavors, including options like chocolate mint, rum cake, and mandarin orange that can be accented with fresh fruit and buttercream fillings.

As a natural complement to the cakes, the store offers ice cream by the scoop and the carton, selling brand name options in a range of changing flavors. As a courtesy to allergen-sensitive clients, the bakers also keep all of the shop’s baked goods free from nut products and packing peanuts, allowing every customer to eagerly bite into their dessert.
