Great selection of items (gifts) as well as a killer class on glass blowing. Staff rock and will explain how anything is made.

Each person makes their ornament one at a time, so it's best to go when there will be less people. Listen closely to what their telling you. No matter what your ornament will be beautiful. These women are so nice and encouraging that you'll want to go back to make more ornaments!

We've done two projects with Girl Glass, and I heartily recommend both (paperweight and ornament). Very friendly, simple clear directions, and just the right mix of allowing you to feel that you are actually making the object, without letting you set yourself on fire. I'm no artist, but both turned out brilliantly!

Loved it! Go with a friend, it's even more fun. The ladies at Girl Glass are really wonderful at making things fun and easy when it comes to glass blowing.

From Our Editors

Largely self-taught, Shannon Jane Morgan has spent the last 21 years firing up her furnaces and creating delicate, one-of-a-kind works of glass art as the owner and founder of Girl Glass. Her pieces include gracefully curved vases; pigment-dappled paperweights; and whimsical, translucent pumpkins. During classes, Morgan shares her years of carefully cultivated expertise with students, delving into the nuances of molten glass with blowing and shaping tutorials.
