I won't be back and am disappointed that we did not get everything promised.
Fix the light in the sauna room. And there's one corner that spits out really hot steam under the bench, so if someone sits there it could burn them.
we had a scheduling problem with the spa to begin with (they booked us for the wrong month by accident) had to call them a few times until I got a response back to book my appts. then the time we did get service, we paid for 90 minute massages for a couple but we only got 75 mins. we left a message for the owner about it with the front desk person but she never contacted us back. really bad communications over all. wouldn't go back there again because of the bad customer service and communication.
While the massage was very good there were a few things a miss. Not totally bad, just a miss.
1. The towels smelled yucky. Maybe they used organic soap? 2. The steam room got too hot so we could only hang out in there for a little bit. 3. The soaking tub was good for thin people, which we are, but what about mid and large folks? Most folks are not thin. Just saying. 4. Tried to see our massage on their posted menu at the front entrance but could not see it. We found some close treatments, but if they were suppose to be a match we didn't get all we were suppose to. Maybe the Groupon package was a special truncated package? I think they need a sandwich sign out front to point folks in.
Our only complaint, which we did not express during our visit because of the amazing treatment we received, was that we purchased a chocolate scrub in our package which we did not receive, along with chocolates that we were supposed to receive during our tub soak.
I had a wonderful appointment, and given a wonderful masseuse named Crystal. She was both expert in her field and her demeanor and expertise were exceptional. Thank you for a wonderful massage and a pampering experience of a full body chocolate scrub. My skin was extremely soft and hinted beautifully of chocolate. Pure heaven!
I scheduled the appt the same day I purchased the groupon which was close to a month ago as Valentine's surprise for my boyfriend. Literally 20 min before we're scheduled to be there they called to say they couldn't fit us in. I made the appt well in advance. They asked if I could come ababy other day during the week. I told them no because I work during the week and that I had requested off specifically for this. Needless to say, my plans were ruined. Eventually they did call back to say they can fit us in at 7 which helped some what but didn't make up for the fact that I missed a whole day of work for nothing. Our original appt was at 230. I could have went to work.
Some people have said the tub is small in the rainforest tub and it is. But the massage is the main reason to go and it is totally worth it.
