We had bad food bad service.... Some of the food was so horrible none of us would eat it. How could rice be so horrible. Salsa was super poor... Things were bland... Had to even alter guac. You weren't that busy... And food took forever, not sure if our waiter was tryin to make our food too! We were looking forward to a good dinner out in STL and later were looking for dinner again for our very poor experience! Clearly we won't be back and won't recommend it!

The drinks were great, the food was not. I have two suggestions. 1. Season the food. The salmon that goes on the tacos was flavorless. The menu says smoked salmon but the salmon was not smoked. The rice was bland. 2. Add more meat to the tacos. The fried shell overpowered the little bit of salmon on the tacos. We also had the brisket tacos and there was literally about a tablespoon of meat on each taco.

Very good dining experience. They went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect.

Extremely good service in that they took off charges when things went wrong (no whip on my irish coffee, etc). Extremely poor service in that it was slow, felt almost rude, so rushed that they got one order wrong, etc.

Ribs had very little meat on them and the chili verde was not green chili at all. Friend took two bites and left it and bartender did even ask if it was ok or not.

My husband and I both agree we have had better. If you're at the Landing and just must have Tex-Mex, then okay, but I wouldn't recommend a special trip like us. Service was sporadic, chairs uncomfortable, margaritas watery!! We ordered several appetizers to test how the food might be. It's not what we expected at all, the "authentic" salsa horrible, the guac laced with large chunks of vingerary onions, the hot wings dry and cold, the nachos okay, the homemade chips about the only thing that we thought were above the standard fare but hardly worth going back for. We didn't have any of the main courses. Perhaps they're better?? We won't be going back to find out.

From Our Editors

The scent of garlic, chilies, cilantro, and other quintessential Tex-Mex flavors waft through Diablo Southwest Grill’s two stories, where waiters ferry bowls of rich chicken enchilada soup. The menu also includes Cowboy nachos with chili and bacon, hamburgers topped with guacamole, and the Socorro steak sandwich with chopped chilies, blue cheese, and whiskey-onion sauce. Bartenders pair drinks with each dish, from classic margaritas and manhattans to the Mexican beers on tap.
