JC Supper Club updates the dusty 1930s and '40s concept of supper club with a fun-loving New American menu. (The addition of nacho fries alone makes it superior to supper clubs of the past.) The food, which also includes barbecued meat smothered in sauce and light mango salads, is joined by craft cocktails. But while booze played a big part in supper clubs of yesteryear, JC doesn't just serve old-fashioneds. Instead, its mixologists create frozen cocktails that are the perfect remedy for cooling off after dancing to the myriad live bands and DJs the restaurant brings in for ladies' night, Saturday dance parties, and special events such as its Halloween costume party. JC also serves as an event hall where pro comedians, such as DeAndre Whitner, get applause, and amateur comedians, such as a best man giving a toast, get glares from the bride and groom.
