With ground-breaking architecture and a 253-year history, St. Louis is an ideal surrounding to explore — and Landmarks Association of St. Louis agrees. In an attempt to cover everything Downtown St. Louis has to offer, Landmarks Association of St. Louis offers three different tours. The East Tour explores the heart of downtown, covering such sights as the Old St. Louis Courthouse, the Gateway Arch, and the Wainwright Building. The West Tour focuses on sights such as the Peabody Opera House, the Soldiers Memorial, and the Central Library. Last but not least, the Washington Avenue Tour winds around the birthplace of the Saint Louis University and Washington University campuses, 555 Washington Avenue, the National Blues Museum. All of these tours are prime opportunities to gain a deeper understanding of the Gateway City.
