It is closing down and had almost no selection for our Groupon redemption. Not a great place to visit.
There were only a few pieces to choose from, limited supplies and very little assistance. They had discounted all their prices due to the store closing but since our group was using Groupon we were charged full price. It is not surprising they are closing.
The store is closing the end of December 2011!!! :(
They are going out of business at the end of the month so the inventory was slim and customer service was poor.
Really fun. We liked the new location and the music. Didn't think that there was much of a selection on the shelves, tho. Had a hard time finding something we wanted to paint.
super fun, me and my daughter went for girls day out. Employees really nice and friendly very laided back. We will definetly be returning again soon.
I really liked that there wasn't a studio fee so I was able to paint my pieces without feeling rushed. The staff was really nice and helpful and the studio was clean. They didn't offer as many pieces as I would have thought so it was hard to decide what to paint because I was limited. The picking up process was a little disorganized and many people weren't able to find their pieces to pick up while I was there. Maybe if the staff wrote down a description of the piece as opposed to the customer, there would be less confusion. I personally didn't have that issue but while I was painting and when I went to pick mine up there were customers having that issue. All in all though, I did enjoy my experience and I would go back.
Super hope there will be another groupon for Your Pot's Desire in the future!!! It was so much fun!
Have some magazines available for inspiration...old issues of gardening magazines and women's magazines have lots of ideas for drawings. I can draw free hand, but arrived with nothing, not knowing what to expect. I ended up drawing something kind of goofy from memory, which probably could have been better.
