The ones organizing the haunted trail didn't take into consideration the amount of people it would attract. Waiting in line for 2 hours prior to our time slot then an additional 45 minutes past pur time slot. The ones on the trail where on top of you. I understand getting in your face, but they should not be rubbing up against you. The cause is a wonderful idea.

We waited in line for 2 hours. Entered at 9:30, didn’t walk into the trail until 11:30. By the time we left all vendors had left for the night (food and drinks). The trail was alright but we caught up to the group in front of us which ruined the experience. To be honest, it was kind of boring. It supports a great cause, but I wouldn’t do this again.

The line was way too long for young children to stand in. I think there should be tickets purchased for specific times to reduce the wait.

We had a good time. It was wheelchair accessible so my daughter was able to enjoy it with the family. We will most likely return next year.

The actual trail was really fun, but we had to stand in line for three hours.

This was the second time to go to this event. So much fun! dress for the weather as you will have to spend some time in line, but worth it.

The line is forever and the trail itself took about 10 minutes. Anticlimatic.

Was in line for 1 and a half hours, the trail wasn't very long. But at least they kept you entertained while in line.

Lines were incredibly long for such a short trail

The trail was fun but the line was way to long. They need to have at least 2 beer stops on the way through :) and need to get square to take cards instead of cash, they would make a lot more money!

From Our Editors

Every October, the members of the Cottleville Fire Department turn in their fire-fighting leathers for meat-carving ones. It's the Cottleville Haunted Trail, an annual fund—and fear—raiser featuring zombies, killer clowns, and ghoulish critters beyond description. They lurk along a 15-minute walking trail, which features a zombie trail and campsite massacre, evil prison, and a school bus full of horrors. The whole thing culminates in a barbecue with burgers, hot dogs, chicken strips, and beer for those 21 and older.
