Make sure to check out all the interesting vendors from far and wide. There were some interesting treats and drinks to experience.

With paying to enter the event would be nice to have more than one sample for your money . Was nice that some booths offered a number of samples such as 3 for $2.00 allowing you to try more of what that vendor had to offer .

It was odd to have to pay for tastings after I had already paid to get in. Of they are going to do that gain they need to disclose it before you purchase the groupon. Or offer diacounts on the items you are trying. I would have had a much better time had I been able to plan ahead and save a bit if money before going there.

Felt too much like a trade show. Music was horrible and there wasn't very many food options.

Would like to see maybe a higher price like other events of this type, with the purchaser getting an event glass and some tickets for free samples. I'd rather pay the price up front. This is not a Groupon issue.

There was only 1 free tasting booth we were charged at every other drink booth. It was fine I just spent so much on samples an items I think it was way over priced to get in and If thd description should have just said each sample is at least a dollar so I would have been more prepared and brought more money.

Not exciting. Minimal space and venders. Musician was the absolute BEST PART. Saturday night piano guy! Six of us give him a total of 12 thumbs up!..

From Our Editors

Formerly the Oregon Wine, Food & Brew Fest, 2015's First Taste Oregon will showcase the same types of Oregon talent: winemakers, brewers, distillers, and chefs. On Friday, January 23, from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., and Saturday, January 24, from noon to 10 p.m., a fresh lineup of vendors will flood the Oregon State Fair & Exposition Center's Columbia Hall with their pours, suds, and cuisine. Though the final list of exhibitors remains a mystery, participants have included Eastside Distilling—which led a special tasting of its bourbon, vodka, and coffee rum, among others—and demos by several Oregon chefs. Visitors can park in the free lot, and purchase some taste tickets to enjoy similar activities this year.
