Abe Ortiz is a Renaissance man: his creative output spans art forms as varied as music, drawing, and writing. But photography is the medium that captured him at a young age. As a child, he liked to borrow his grandpa's Polaroid camera to take shots he could see instantly, and when he got a little older, he spent hours in his high school's darkroom processing shots in black and white. Today, Ortiz's portfolio at LAFMIL Photography is colorful and dynamic. Whether it's a dog in a bee costume or a tattooed bride in a flowing gown, subjects in his lens get to vibrantly showcase their own personalities.
