Massage therapist Kathleen Horner’s genuine desire to help people stretches back to her career as a paramedic and a 911 operator. Looking for a more hands-on way to serve clients, she made the jump to massage therapy, drawing from her background in paramedics to take a decidedly therapeutic approach. She now fills her wheelhouse with a range of massage modalities that include Swedish, hot-stone, and cancer massage, and works to decrease anxiety, increase circulation, and improve concentration. She works to promote overall health in a number of ways, expunging aches with deep-tissue kneads and removing lymph and lactic acid with cupping techniques. In addition to massages, she also performs detox body wraps.
