The Groupon was a great value based on regular price at the venue. However the rides were old & rickety & the selection of rides very small. The games were super expensive. We got 80 ride coupons and ended up giving away 32. Would not visit again.

It was fun but 1) very small, 2) in a sketchy neighborhood and 3) the Groupon was for rides but the few ride options were just a lot of spinning/dizzy. I was hoping for a mix of other simple and fun rides- like a normal ferris wheel, etc. Also, the foods were not quite Carnival quality. Instead of caramel apples they had candy apples (cherry flavor?), instead of kettle corn they had regular popcorn, etc.

Food is minimal, I would have brought food if I had known what little selection there was.

i wish there were more adult type rides. there seemed to be more kid rides which is fine but it kind of sucks if you have no kids.

The ferris wheel ride they have caused my daughter and I to have minor bumps and bruises from it's erratic spinning and from being stuck upside down for a longer than expected period of time. We have nvr experienced any injuries at other carnivals, fairs, or theme parks until this event.

From Our Editors

The Christiansen family's roots in the carnival industry run deep, stretching back to Ralph B. Christiansen's 1920s amusement business, which his hard-working sons kept running through World War II. Today, Ralph's grandson, Buzz, hosts more than 80 Christiansen Amusements events per year and rents out carnival rides for parties and gatherings. Events pop up throughout Southern California and feature an assortment of family-friendly excursions ranging from mild kids' rides to more intense rides such as the Skydiver or Kamikaze. Carnival games challenge guests' hand-eye coordination, rewarding feats of strength or accuracy with stuffed animals to give to dates or mount on the hood of one's car.
